ZGU Publishes Newsletter

The purpose of this newsletter, which is meant to be published at least quarterly, is to keep affiliates and the general public informed about what is happening in the golfing world, especially on the local scene, as well as to clear up any misunderstandings emanating from any lapses in communication, real or perceived, between ZGU and its affiliates.

In this ‘inaugural’ edition, we inform our affiliates and the general public about significant events that have occurred since just before the eve of the 2018 annual general meeting to date. These include: recipients of the 2018 annual awards; 2018 Order of Merit; the graduation of Zambia’s PGA Diploma holders;Zambia Amateur Open; 2019 Triangular and Quadrangular tournaments; players selected for the Zambia Open and the ZANACO Masters
and the criteria thereof; the forthcoming World Handicapping System and the related mandatory course ratings; the Women in Golf charter; new members; and the results of the TriNations, All Africa Junior Golf Challenge, Region V, Zambia Open and ZANACO Masters. We also highlight donations received and provide insights into how players are selected to play in the national teams.
